Wetterhorn Peak, June 18, 2005

Here are some pics of Rhonda and I climbing the east face of the Wetterhorn. It was a fun snow climb with some scrambling to get onto the summit.
Gearing up . . .
The mighty East Face. The standard route is the SouthEast ridge - the ridge to the left. Another cool route would be the ridge to the right. It's rated class 4

Nearing the top of the snow climb. After this was some steep class 3 scrambling to climb about 120 feet of summit block. The ridge on the left goes to the Matterhorn and is class 4
