After the four wheeling was over, Ronni, Kim, Brent and I climbed Mt. Sneffles, one of Colorado's 14'ers.

Here we are just about to get on the scree, en route to the saddle between Mt. Sneffles and a smaller peak.
 

Ahhhh, we've reached the saddle. The scree was a bear. Next, up the
boulder field behind us.
 

 

A little snow climb action at the top of the boulder field. This was the wrong route if you wanted the easy way up.

Here's why it was the wrong route.
